WHAT: SARA is hosting a build and fly for a local Cub Scout Troop simultaneously with a U of A Student group launch. Assistance is needed from SARA Club Membership (like YOU!) in order to successfully carry out this event!
WHEN: Saturday, November 2nd; 9:00 am - 12 noon
WHERE: SARA TIMPA launch site
WHY? To help usher in the next generation of rocketeers with your vast knowledge of our wonderful hobby. Kids these days describe this as "giving back!"
DETAILS: An estimated 40 scouts will field build and launch Estes Alpha III rockets.
About 15 U of A kids will arrive with their rockets built.
Launch schedule is planned for 9-10am = build; 10-11am = U of A kids launch; 11-12 = Scout launch.
A Porta-potty will be available at this event.
HOW: Please register for this event and be prepared to help this group build and fly their rockets!
