SARA's 2023 annual meeting is coming up! Saturday, November 4, 2023 from 2:30 pm - 4 pm at Masonic Tucson Lodge #4 F&AM, 3590 N Country Club Rd., Tucson, Arizona 85716. We'll hold a brief (< 1 hour) meeting to review our accomplishments for the year, brainstorm how we can improve next year, and to vote on the 2024 officers and board of directors.
If you're interested in running for a spot on SARA's board of directors or as an officer, it's a great way to help the club succeed, and it's a good way to be more involved in our 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Any family, junior, or lifetime member 12 years of age or older can self-nominate to serve. To make a nomination please send an email to secretary@sararocketry.org, or state your intention to run during the annual meeting.
We'll start with a casual swap meet of any rocketry stuff you would like to buy, sell, trade, or give away in the parking lot, then at 3 PM transition inside to conduct the official business. The swap meet will include some nice items available for a small donation (motor cases, etc.) and some rockets, supplies, etc. for free.
The meeting portion will be available via zoom for those who can't attend in person, the link will be added to this event before the day of the meeting.
