Desert Heat 24 Planning Meeting #10 and Final

YOU ARE INVITED to actively participate in creating DH24!

Desert Heat 2024 will run April 5 - 7, 2024. We will set up and conduct our volunteer launch on the 5th, with free dinner served to all that evening. The main event will run all day Saturday April 6th, culminating in a night launch, conditions depending, and will conclude on Sunday April 7th with flying in the morning and tearing down beginning at noon.  

Planning meetings will be held generally on Thursday evenings 7:00 - 8:00pm via Zoom. 

We'll meet every few weeks at first, and then weekly as we approach this event. The learning and feedback we've gathered from DH22 and DH23 will be applied to DH24, making it an even more wonderful event.

Our mission is to cater first to our fliers, then to our spectators. Many fly with SARA only during Desert Heat. We want to make this a most memorable event for all who attend. And with your help we can do so.

Another mission is to make sure all those planning and volunteering get to fly! So if you are hesitant to participate in DH24 planning because of this concern, don't be concerned!
