SARA's Desert Heat launch, tentatively scheduled for April 1 - 3, 2022, is in the planning stages. Traditionally, Desert Heat has been an all-weekend launch, with potentially hundreds of fliers and spectators, with onsite vendors and camping, hosted at the TIMPA runway. What it becomes this year depends in large part on the extent of volunteer participation in the planning and execution of the event.
