Jacob:
Congrats, on a sucessful TRA Level Three.

Jacob flew his Tri-Star on an M1315 today in Rainbow Valley. It was by far the best M1315 flight I've seen. Slow boost, Straight, Perfect Appogee Deployment and slow decent. The rocket looked as good after the flight as before.

Great lesson for those working there way up, you don't need dual deployment for cert flights, keep it simple. Smallest motor your rocket well fly on, get it up and get it down. Then you can start making them bigger and more complex.

Great Job Jacob and Jay.

Let me second that.

I attended my first SSS launch last weekend and saw Jacob's 8x Tristar rip the sky and just miss touching the clouds. Mimicking the blue and white sky, his white model with blue chutes was a highlight of the morning. Its majestic rise and slow decent in great weather was fun to watch and definitely a great example to emulate. Jacob told me that he was in Phoenix for school but was from Tucson, and returns for holidays and vacation. Hope to see him at the launches!
