The SARA Thumper is currently displayed in the Hobby town on speedway and has been there for about 4 days. When we went to refill the flyers today they were almost out. The information sessions at both Hobby town locations are going to be much larger than the Hobby Barn session was. We absolutely need to get volunteers who are willing to talk to people about the club, what we do, and rocketry in general. If you can spare any time at all the second weekend of December please come and help out. More information will be coming soon.
Nothing is ever perfect until it has been upscaled.
After you left the Hobby Barn session, Ken and I went in to thank the owners. They said everyone coming in had something good to say about our display and welcomed us back anytime we wanted. Mary commented she liked the Thumper display so much you could put it there anytime you wanted for as long as you like.
I was in Speedway Hobbytown over the weekend and saw the display, it looked great.
I spoke with Competition Hobbies and they said we could set up the outdoor display there anytime we wanted, just name the date, but there is concern about the Thumper display because of the limited space they have.
