Scimitar mass launches
Gifts will be rewarded
to the kids when they return the rockets. This will happen at 11:00
AM on Saturday and at 1:00 PM on Sunday.
"D" Poker
Launch
Receive a playing card for every safe and successful "D" powered
launch (must include a minimum of 1 "D" engine). Best 5 card poker
hand at 4:30 PM on Saturday wins. No limit to how many cards an
individual can receive. Any registered flyer can participate.
"H"/"I" Poker Launch
Receive a playing card for every safe and successful "H"/"I" powered
launch(must include a minimum of 1 "H" or "I" engine). Best 5 card
poker hand at 4:30 PM on Saturday wins. No limit to how many cards
an individual can receive. Must be registered and Level 1 HPR
certified, NAR or Tripoli, to participate
"A" Night Streamer Duration
The flyer having the highest total duration for two flights is the
winner.
A) Two age divisions: 16 and younger, 17 and older
B) The model may not separate into two or more parts.
C) The model must be returned to the flight judges (timers) after
each flight.
D) Different models may be used for each flight.
E) Any NAR or Tripoli certified "A" motor may be used.
F) Any number of streamers may be used. A streamer is defined as a
sheet of material having a minimum length to width ratio of 5 (5
inches long for each inch wide) attached to the model at only one of
the narrow ends.
G) Models will be timed from first motion to ground contact or until
sight of the model is lost.
H) Flights that are disqualified for any reason (including no
return, unsafe, separation) will receive a zero duration but will
count as one of the two flights.

Certifications
Certifications must be scheduled in advance with:
Larry Foster for NAR Certification
Erich Burch for Tripoli Certification
Two certification chances per individual maximum.

Launch Restrictions
Special launches
Require
advance notice before 19 January 2007. Special
launches include:
A) Total impulse greater than 5120 Newton Seconds ("L" or greater)
B) Unusual configurations (models that RocSim cannot figure out)
C) Models weighing over 100 pounds
D) First flights for models over 2560 Newton seconds ("K" or
greater)
E) Complex models (staged, clustered) over 2560 Newton seconds ("K"
or
greater)
Night launch
2560 Newton second "K" limit for night launches ("K" powered models
require
advance notice before 19 January 2007.
HPR models must have a strobe light as a minimum.
Model rockets may use glow sticks, lights, etc. as long as they are
continuously visible
Waivers
4500 feet AGL normal waiver
Call ins to 7500 feet AGL are being investigated (daytime only)
